Cancellation

Customer organizations may cancel HospiceDefender, a product of Guildscape, LLC, at any time, with no early-termination fee. This page explains how to cancel, when cancellation takes effect, and what happens to your data.
1. How to Cancel
Email support@hospicedefender.com from a billing or administrative contact on file. We will confirm receipt within two (2) business days. We may ask a brief question to confirm the request comes from an authorized contact before processing it.
2. When Cancellation Takes Effect
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the then-current billing period. Because the Service is billed on a postpaid basis, the final invoice will cover the audit work delivered up to the effective date. There is no early-termination fee, and we do not bill for periods after the effective date.
3. What Happens to Your Data
After the effective cancellation date, the account is moved to a read-only state for thirty (30) days so that any final exports or downloads can be completed. Following that window, account-specific data is scheduled for deletion in accordance with our data-retention practices and any applicable Business Associate Agreement or order-level commitment, which controls if it specifies a different handling or retention period.
4. Reactivation
If you cancel and later wish to resume, contact us before the end of the read-only window to discuss reactivating the account with its data intact. After data has been deleted, reactivation starts a new account.
